Hi! My name is Katie and I am the owner of Pretty Pebbles.
Pretty Pebbles was born out of a need to entertain my eldest niece and nephew the day their sister was born back in 2020. It evolved into a pipe dream during the last stretch of my university career, during which the name Pretty Pebbles was suggested by my now fiancé. It quickly became a reality when I got myself a last minute spot at the Blenheim Art in the Park in 2022, giving me only a few weeks between my graduation and the market to create almost all of the stock I took that day. The success of that market got the ball rolling for Pretty Pebbles and inspired me to branch out into resin as well, something I gained an interest in from having seen my brother use it in a wooden charcuterie board he’d made.
Having always been the creative type, it brings me such joy to create each piece and such a sense of fulfillment seeing it give joy to others. Each piece I make is unique, and each one has a piece of my heart.
